Update on how weigh-in will work. This is currently the plan for weigh in and is subject to changes. -All trailers will be routed to enter Expo up by the main building. -All trailers will go through a check point to see which species needs to be unloaded first. -We will have 3 unload/weigh areas. Steer, lambs, and hogs will each have their own unload/weigh line. -That trailer will then be routed to the appropriate line for that specie. -If you are bringing more than one specie, you will then be routed to the next appropriate line. -NO ANIMALS ARE ALLOWED TO BE WALKED TO WEIGH IN. ALL ANIMALS MUST BE UNLOADED FROM THE TRAILER. -It is stated in the rules that: Steers must be shown with a halter and MUST BE FULLY BROKEN. The MAS Committee will identify unbroken animals and disqualify them from showing if a threat to human safety is present. The use of tranquilizers, sedatives and depressants is prohibited. Steers that are excused from the show must be removed from fairgrounds as soon as possible. The MAS Committee will use any methods necessary to control animals on the fairgrounds. This is for the safety of exhibitors and spectators. -All trailers will be parked on the hill, no trailers are allowed in the field below the barns. -There will be two UTV's running tack and supplies from parking lot to penning areas. -DO NOT bring your own golf cart/ATV. -Weigh in ends at 8pm. -At 8pm, we will begin to break classes for lambs. When that is complete, the lamb classes will be posted on this Facebook page as well as areas around the barns, tents, and show arena. Look for "Show Info" boards. -All exhibitors, parents and other helpers must be off the fairgrounds by 10:00 p.m. every night, unless extended by the Market Animal Show Committee. No overnight camping allowed. The fairgrounds will re-open at 6:00 a.m. each morning on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
